What to Expect

Yoga Class Session
Outdoor Yoga Stretch

Trying something new can feel a little intimidating — especially when it comes to hot yoga. This page is here to walk you through what your first visit to Toasty Asana will feel like, step by step, so you can arrive feeling informed, supported, and at ease.

No experience required. Just come as you are.

What to Expect

01

Before You Arrive

Arrive 10–15 minutes early for your first class so you can settle in without feeling rushed.

Come well-hydrated, and try to avoid a heavy meal in the 1–2 hours before class. Light snacks are totally fine.

Wear something comfortable that allows you to move and sweat.

03

The Studio Space

Our practice room is warm and intentionally heated to support mobility, circulation, and focus.

Everyone sets up their mat with plenty of space, and we provide the props that your teacher will recommend for use during class.

The room may feel intense at first — that’s normal, and you’ll ease into it.

05

After Class

After class, take your time rehydrating and cooling down.

It’s normal to feel tired, energized, relaxed — or all three.

Many students say the benefits continue well beyond the mat.

02

Checking In

When you walk in, you’ll be greeted by a friendly Toasty team member at the front desk.

You’ll check in by tapping your name on the iPad — and if it’s your first class, just let us know so we can help get you set up.

There are lockable lockers for you to store your valuables (including shoes) during class.

Questions are always welcome here.

04

During Class

You’re encouraged to move at your own pace.

Taking breaks, resting, or stepping out for air is always okay — listening to your body is part of the practice.

Our instructors offer guidance and options, but your experience is your own.

06

You Belong Here

Every Toasty Asana class is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and accessible.

Whether it’s your first class or your hundredth, you’re part of the community the moment you walk through the door.

If you ever have questions, we’re here to help.
