Toasty Asana Carlisle – Design Blog 002

Welcome to 2026!  Over here at Toasty we have been busy prepping for construction… with demo starting on January 19^th, 2026.  This is the point where ideas start turning into walls, wires, and heat.

While demo is the most visible milestone, a lot of the work right now is happening behind the scenes. Finalizing lighting layouts, sound systems, and plumbing locations now helps prevent surprises later.  As we make selections (some are shared below) we’re reflecting on what this studio means to us – and what we’d love for it to mean to you, our community.  We want warmth to radiate from every corner – not just the infrared panels on the ceiling – so that every person who enters our space feels calm and supported, and every person who leaves after class has a relaxed smile gracing their lips.

Beyond the build: creating pieces that celebrate the practice

We also spent a lot of our holiday break and the first week of the new year working on in store retail product development.  Retail at Toasty Asana is designed to feel like an extension of the studio—not an afterthought. From milestone pins to cozy apparel, everything is meant to celebrate showing up, trying something hard, and sticking with it.  We have a lot of product arriving in the next few days—including magnets, stickers, hats, enamel pins, books, and affirmation card decks—all of which have been designed in-house.  We’ll be sharing sneak peeks as these arrive—both here and on social—so stay tuned.

All of this work—design decisions, construction prep, product development—ultimately leads back to people. We’re creating this space to share with all of you.  We’re hoping Toasty Asana can connect you to fellow yogis in the Carlisle area, or maybe Toasty can just introduce you to a new way to practice yoga (hi heat!).  Whatever this space becomes for each of you, know that it’s being created with the utmost care, with every decision being backed with a lot of love, passion and respect for the community that’s about to grow within.
